Hey, I’m Tash - Your New Zealand Guide

I’m a Kiwi who has lived in New Zealand all my life and have been full-time slow traveling since 2022 with my family — Lath, Arabella, and Sienna. Instead of rushing from place to place, we take our time in each region, allowing us to deeply explore the landscapes, connect with locals, and uncover hidden gems that most travelers simply drive past. This kind of travel means we don’t just “see” New Zealand — we really get to know it.

We love everything from short nature walks to full-day hikes (from 30 minutes to 8 hours across all kinds of terrain), scenic photography spots, unique cafes, wildlife encounters and secluded spots that feel like paradise. While we’ve spent most of our time in the South Island, we’ve explored plenty of North Island locations too, with plans to explore the island deeply in 2025!
