16 Day Family Adventure In The South Island Of New Zealand!

Get ready for an amazing adventure as we explore the breathtaking landscapes of New Zealand's South Island! After spending a fantastic 15 months exploring this incredible country, especially the South Island, we've made some awesome friends along the way. Now, we want to share the fun with more families and showcase all the South Island has to offer by hosting our very first family expedition in New Zealand!

In the span of 16 fantastic days, we'll be cruising through Canterbury, Otago, Southland, and the West Coast, with hopes of encountering some of the fantastic wildlife that calls these places home – think dolphins, penguins, and sea lions! We'll also be going on some pretty awesome adventures like luging in Queenstown, off-roading through the rainforest on the West Coast, soaking in the Tekapo hot pools, cruising through Milford Sound (aka the 8th wonder of the world!), experiencing a -18deg C windstorm in Christchurch, having high tea in a real castle, and so much more! The awesome thing about our expedition, is all of the activities below are included in the price!

We'll take you through snow-covered peaks in the Southern Alps, lush rainforests, and vast plains. The journey itself is as exciting as the destinations we'll visit. Plus, we'll be staying in the International Dark Sky Reserve, where the night sky is beyond belief on clear nights!

But this isn't just about the scenery; it's about having a blast with other families. Your kids will have a blast making new friends and sharing unforgettable moments. Everything you need is in one place, no need to unpack the whole car to find one thing
There is a lot of space for the kids in the back to enjoy themselves on long road trips
No searching for toilets! The toilet is in your camper which saves A LOT of time on the road

Campervans offer panoramic views through large windows, enabling everyone, including the kids, to enjoy the scenic beauty during the drive. It enhances the overall travel experience and adds to the excitement of the journey.

Meet Your Hosts

We're Lath (dad), Tash (mum), Arabella (9) and Sienna (5), a kiwi family originally from the North Island of New Zealand. Arabella and Sienna are both world schooled and are learning so much on the road. We love hiking to places with incredible views, finding really cool things out in nature that we haven't seen before and capturing it all through the lense. We're a little bit nutty (ok..A LOT), full of dad jokes (even the kids!) and we love to go with the flow. Where there's a new experience to be had, you'll probably find us there!
